day two recap

Hey, all! Little Fern is now something like 36 hours old, and it seems like the whole time has been filled with activity. We're trying to be as regular as possible with all our little tasks: feeding, sleeping, feeding, changing, feeding. They're all such everyday tasks made miraculous by repetition, because the repetition is making a person and teaching us her personality.

Kristin's progressing well with her recovery, walking on her own now and able to move Fern around pretty well. It seems at this point as if we'll be here until Monday at least, so for all me you who've been clamoring for nicer, full-sized pictures, sorry! It'll have to be a few days!
