Playing catch!
One exciting recent development is that Fern has learned (discovered?) how to play "catch" with us or with other children on the playground. She sort of bounces the ball away from her, occasionally aiming at her teammate, and then waits expectantly for you to retrieve it and throw it back. Next stop: the big leagues!
